With the passage of Measure V, the Board of Education for the Washington Unified School District was required to establish an independent Citizen Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC) in accordance with California Education Code 15278. The purpose of the committee is to ensure bond proceeds are expended only for the school facilities projects listed in Exhibit A. The committee was established within 60 days of the date when the results of the election appear in the minutes of a Board of Education meeting.

The Board of Education established the need and accepted applications to participate on the CBOC for terms not to exceed two years. Information from CBOC meetings as well as future output of the CBOC will be posted to this webpage. Any questions can be directed towards Kevin Sanders, Director of Facilities Construction and Planning WUSD.
