WUSD Parents and Families

Please join us for the first annual "STU-CON" in Washington Unified -
an evening of music, food, and your child sharing their knowledge of technology with you.
Come learn, explore, and play!

Teachers and Administrators

STU-CON 2017 provides WUSD students the opportunity to share how they’ve learned to use technology with their families and the West Sacramento community. They can “show what they know” by teaching others how to create and engage with technology through student-led presentations and demonstrations.

The WUSD STU-CON 2017 is a way for classrooms to showcase the effective integration of technology and the powerful learning taking place daily in our classrooms. There will be Chromebooks, laptops, tablets, and robotics available for families and the community to explore and engage on their own.

The WUSD STU-CON 2017 is open to all TK-12 classrooms. Student teams need to be led by the classroom teacher who will be onsite during the event to support their students.  Each teacher can sign up for a 30 minute time slot between 5 and 7 pm for their team to demonstrate or share a technology project with parents and community members. Students will receive a participation prize and teachers will be compensated at the PD rate for their time.
