Your children can use Destination Math at home. The district is mailing logon information to families in June. When children log on, they have a choice of My Tasks or Exploration. If your child's teacher has assigned Destination Math lessons, they will appear in My Tasks. If not, please click on Explorations.
When you select Explorations, you will see the following courses listed. The two Algebra courses will not be available until August.
For details about concepts or skills in each course, please click on the course title or picture. This will not take you to the actual course: to use the course, please use the link on the district's home page, and log in.

Mastering Skills & Concepts: Course II
In Destination Math for grades 2 - 3, students work with place value, using on-line manipulatives to name and represent numbers up to 1,000. They add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers and investigate simple fractions. They explore volume, area, money, temperature, and time, and relational ideas in algebra using number sentences, tables, and linear patterns. |
 |
Mastering Skills & Concepts: Course III: Intermediate Mathematics
In Destination Math for grades 4-6, students work through tutorials designed around 127 learning objectives in numbers and number sense, fractions, decimals, probability, statistics, and geometry. |
 |
Mastering Skills & Concepts: Course IV: Basic Mathematics
In Basic Mathematics, students focus on arithmetic, numbers, and operations included in the middle school math curriculum as they investigate properties of fractions, decimals, percents, and integers, and explore the rules that govern their operations. |
 |
Mastering Skills & Concepts: Course V: Pre-Algebra
In Pre-Algebra, students continue their study of numbers and operations by exploring ratios, proportions, and irrational numbers. They also study the fundamental skills and concepts found in algebra, geometry, statistics, and probability. |
 |
Mastering Algebra I: Part 1
In Mastering Algebra I, Part 1, students investigate the symbols and rules of algebra and how they are used to represent relationships. They progress through the course by solving linear equations in one variable, graphing linear functions and systems, and expressing answers both graphically and algebraically. |
 |
Mastering Algebra I: Part 2
In Mastering Algebra I, Part 2, students continue to master their algebra skills by learning about polynomial expressions and operations, graphing parabolas, and identifying relationships between graphs and equations. Students apply the quadratic formula to solve quadratic equations in one variable and investigate other algebraic relations and functions. |
