Student & Family Support Services

The Office of Student and Family Support Services provides academic, social and emotional support services that support learning for students.  Case managers are available to coordinate both prevention and intervention services.  Community based agencies are available to provide support services such as student and family counseling, character education groups, substance abuse and basic needs.  The Office of Student and Family Support Services also provides services and support for the following:

  • Enrollment
  • Transfer Requests
  • School Uniforms
  • Foster Youth
  • Homeless Students
  • Attendance
  • Discipline 
The Washington Unified School District offers services and programs for children and youth with barriers to learning through partnerships with:

Your child is eligible for Kindergarten if his/her 5th birthday falls on or before September 1st, 2020. A child is eligible for Transitional Kindergarten if his/her 5th birthday falls on or between September 2nd, 2020 and December 2nd, 2020.
Registration Date: January 25, 2020 for 2020-2021 
Time: 9:00-12:00 PM 
Where to Register: You need to register your child at his/her neighborhood school. Please visit our website to use our school locator, under “About WUSD” tab.
Please bring the following documents for registration:
  • Child’s birth certificate
  • Immunization records (must be up-to-date)
  • Proof of address (utility bill, mortgage/rental agreement)
  • Physical Exam (must be dated after August 2019)
  • Dental exam
