The Technology Department serves the technology needs of Washington Unified School District students, educators, staff, and schools. We provide reliable, secure, and cost-effective instructional and information technology services that support teaching, learning, communication, collaboration, and district operations.
We are dedicated to transforming teaching and learning through the thoughtful use of technology. Our goal is to ensure that every student and educator has equitable access to innovative tools, digital resources, dependable infrastructure, and responsive support that foster creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving.
From integrating emerging technologies into classrooms to providing professional learning and ongoing support for educators, we empower students and staff to use technology confidently, responsibly, and effectively. Our work includes instructional technology, cybersecurity, digital citizenship, coding, multimedia production, artificial intelligence, personalized learning, data systems, network infrastructure, and technical support.
Through these efforts, the Technology Department advances the district’s commitment to equity, excellence, and innovation while preparing students to become capable, responsible, and future-ready learners and leaders.
