Student Advisory Committee

Starting with the 2016 school year, the Superintendent's Office announced the formation of her Student Advisory Committee.

In an effort to strengthen the connection between district leadership and our students, former Superintendent Luna invited students from the River City High School Student Leadership Class to join her for a series of informal lunches to discuss student concerns and recommendations for staff.

As our school district continues its transformation into a true Gateway To Extraordinary Possibilities, student input is at the forefront of making this dream a reality.

The WUSD Board of Trustees are always provided updates on Student Advisory Committee meetings using student input to directly guide their policy decisions for the district.
