Important Information Regarding Salary Increases: Please note that while the 3% salary increase is an ongoing permanent increase to your annual base salary, the 4% ONE-TIME off-schedule increase is temporary. The ONE-TIME off-schedule payment is calculated based on your annual salary and the number of months you receive a paycheck based on your annual calendar. Therefore, the ONE-TIME off-schedule payments are divided into 12 installments for 12-month employees and 11 installments for 11-month employees to be paid to you over the 12 to 11 months. The following is how this will be processed and paid to you:
- Effective July 1, 2023, you will see a permanent 3% increase in your pay. This is your ongoing salary increase.
- In addition, you will receive a 4% off-schedule annual increase for the next 12 to 11 months (depending on your annual calendar). This is your ONE TIME off-schedule increase and is temporary.
- It is important to remember that this 4% increase is an off-schedule increase that will expire on June 30, 2024, or the last day of your employment with WUSD if you leave before June 30, 2024. This increase will not carry over into the 2024-25 school year.
- The 4% off-schedule increase will be listed as a separate line item on your paystub so you can easily identify and differentiate between permanent and temporary increase amounts.
- Please note that if you separate your employment from the District anytime during the year, your 4% off-schedule increase will end on your last day of employment.
