Washington Unified School District

Beginning with the 2016 school year, the Superintendent's Office initiated a series of informal meetings with school PTA/PTSA/PTO presidents called “Coffee with the Superintendent” that promote an open dialogue between Washington Unified School District (WUSD) parents from each school site and the Superintendent.

 

These meetings are by invitation only, convening 4-5 times throughout the year, and designed specifically for the Superintendent to receive direct feedback from parent leaders and for discussing important topics that are near and dear to each individual school community. 

 

This was a new concept for WUSD but one that has helped us develop into a stronger district that truly is #Great2bWUSD! We are confident that these coffees will continue to strengthen communication and bring about more positive momentum throughout our schools.
