Superintendent's Parent Advisory Committee

The Superintendent’s Parent Advisory Committee (SPAC) brings together parent and guardian representatives from schools across the Washington Unified School District (WUSD) to strengthen two-way communication between families and district leadership. Members meet directly with the Superintendent to share feedback, discuss how things are going across the district, and elevate concerns that may not be easily resolved at the school site level.

Membership

Membership

Each school principal identifies one or more parents or guardians who are interested in representing their school on the Superintendent’s Parent Advisory Committee. Members should be current WUSD parents or guardians who are willing to listen to other families, share input with the Superintendent, and communicate information back to their school site.
Meetings

Meetings

The committee meets in person with the Superintendent twice each year, once in late fall and once in late spring. Meetings are held at the WUSD District Office to support focused, meaningful dialogue and allow for questions, discussion, and sharing of perspectives from across the district. Agendas, presentation materials, and any follow-up resources will be posted on this page after each meeting.
