At Washington Unified School District (WUSD), our teachers are uniquely empowered to remove systemic barriers facing disadvantaged students by providing a world-class education that considers cultural differences and puts the needs of individual students first.
Throughout the school year, and especially during Attendance Awareness Month, we aim to capture some of the voices of WUSD that help us make our students’ education a success. From the parents who encourage, to the counselors who guide, the educators that prepare, and the community that supports, it truly does take a village to help our students be fully present in their education.
We invite you to listen to these unique stories and share them with our community, and thanks again for your support in making our WUSD village a place for acceptance, respect, and learning.
