Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee
The Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC) monitors the expenditure of voter‑approved school bond funds to help ensure they are used as promised for facility improvements, construction, and modernization in WUSD. The committee reviews reports on project spending, receives independent audit information, and provides regular updates and recommendations to the Board of Education and community to promote fiscal accountability and public trust.

Curriculum Council
The WUSD Curriculum Council serves as a district‑wide advisory group focused on curriculum, instructional programs, and instructional materials. Composed of principals, district administrators, teachers, and representative Board members, the council reviews proposed course offerings and instructional material adoptions and makes recommendations to the Board for review to ensure alignment with state standards and district goals.

District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC)
The District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC) advises district staff and the Board of Education on programs and services for students who are learning English in WUSD. DELAC members, the majority of whom are parents or guardians of English learner students, review data, plans, and communications related to English learner progress and provide input on how to strengthen instruction, family engagement, and reclassification practices.

Local Control Accountability Plan Parent Advisory Committee (LCAP PAC)
The Local Control Accountability Plan Parent Advisory Committee (LCAP PAC) provides feedback to help shape WUSD’s Local Control and Accountability Plan, which guides how resources are allocated to improve student outcomes under the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). Committee members review district goals, data, and draft LCAP documents, then offer input on strategies and services that support all students.
